Bunaken Marine National Park


Bunaken Marine National Park is famous in the world with its natural wealth and beauty of life under the sea. This region is the extent of 89,065 ha covering 3 districts (Minahasa, North Minahasa, South Minahasa and) and 1 city (Manado).

Park is divided into 2 parts: the north includes 5 islands and some coastal areas south of the island of Sulawesi and covers the whole of the mainland coast of Sulawesi Island.

Bunaken island is an area of ​​8.08 km in the Bay of Manado, located on the northern island of Sulawesi, Indonesia. This island is part of the city of Manado, North Sulawesi provincial capital. Around the island there Bunaken Bunaken marine park which is part of Manado Tua Marine National Park.

Bunaken Marine Park has 29 point dive (dive spot) with depth from 1344 meters. Of the 20 point dive. 12 points are within a diving around Bunaken Island. The 12 points is what frequented by scuba divers and lovers of the beauty of the turbulent sea.

However, if any non-divers, visitors can still enjoy the marine life here because of the clarity of the seawater make visitors can still enjoy the beauty of marine life if only to see from the boat.
